You guys are the best! It was my birthday yesterday and so many of you sent messages and love my way. I can't believe I am another year older! Any Pisces in the house today?!? I just got back to the U.S. and I miss Paris already. It was such a crazy time, but I had so much fun! I had a special someone join me in Paris, any guesses who? My last vlog was all about what goes in preparation for the shows during Paris Fashion Week. There is so much that happens in the hours leading up to a show, so come hangout with me backstage and see what really goes on! So here is a quick breakdown of what goes on days before a show. First, there is a casting held by a brand usually by a casting director, this person makes their selection of who they want for a show. Next, the models chosen will have to come in for a fitting for their looks and that is where adjustments are made so that the clothes are perfect. On the day of a show models arrive maybe 3-4 hours before the show starts, but some models are coming from other shows. The craziest show experience I had was arriving 10 minutes before the show started and still making it onto the runway in time! When we first get to the location we have a little bit of free time and then MADNESS! Hair and makeup, followed by a trial or practice run of the show, final adjustments to our looks, and then we are off to the runway! Has anyone here been to a fashion show? What did you think?
