I’m a cake person through and through and so I decided to make this apple streusel yoghurt cake for my Thanksgiving dessert test run! I’d say it was pretty darn good and would be a hit for the Turkey dinner! I got my ingredients from the bulk section of Sprouts Farmers Market and lightened up the cake with some Mountain High Yoghurt, which is BOGO at Sprouts from 10/31 to 11/14! Score! Mountain High Yoghurt is delicious and fresh, made with no gelatin, no artificial flavors or colors added… just simple, wholesome yoghurt made with Real California Milk. Learn more about Mountain High Yoghurt at: http://bit.ly/2yJgJzU #sponsored SUBSCRIBE & Hit The Notification Bell ➜ http://bit.ly/honeysucklecatering Fall Apple Yogurt Cake: In a large bowl add 1/2 cup butter (room temp) 2/4 cup sugar beat together with hand mixer add 2 eggs (room temp) 1 tsp vanilla 1/2 tsp almond extract mix again, scrape down the bowl and set aside In another bowl add 2 cups of flour 1 tsp baking poder 1 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp salt mix together combine the dry into the wet ingredients, 1/2 at a time with 1 1/4 cups original Mountain High Yoghurt mix together. Add 1 honeycrisp apple, chopped into chunks. Transfer the batter into a lined and greased 8-inch (or 9 inch) spring-form pan. Top with Apple slices and a streusel topping Bake at 350ΒΊF for 45-50 minutes. Remove and cool completely.
